WHO IS ENGELBERT?
Our grandpa Engelbert got his start just outside of Frankfurt in 1948, but he wasn’t selling workwear back then. No, he was selling…brooms. He’d stamp them with an ostrich logo (Strauss means “ostrich” in German) and go on to his next customer.He could not have known then that just three generations later his family company would become Europe’s leader in workwear and work gear, with a presence on four continents.
